Supervisory Acquisition & Utilization Specialist

Incumbent will work with Managers, ACOSs, Business Managers and/m Administrative Officers, along with contracting staff on the development and completion of robust, comprehensive procurement packages. Assists with the formulation of contract solicitation; chairs the Technical Evaluation Panel and the selection process leading to award of new contracts; performs liaison duties with contractors; facilitates proactive planning for procurement planning and execution of budgets. Analyzes data-and identifies trends and issues of concern. Actively participates in upper level management briefings. Makes formal and informal presentations outlining the history, current status, and objectives of the program to present a favorable view, gain acceptance, or recommend changes. Maintains a current knowledge of acquisition regulations, directives, information letters and general procedures. Provides technical guidance to supervisors and contracting officers as needed, including education and monitoring of requirements including competition and small business utilization and other duties as assigned. Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-11 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience can include but is not limited to:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
