Customer Service Representative The Derry Township Municipal Authority is seeking applicants for a full-time Customer Service Representative.
The Authority provides wastewater collection and treatment and other related services to the greater Hershey area.
The Representative will interact with the Authority's external customers to set up and terminate service, answer questions, and make account adjustments.
Billing and collection responsibilities are involved.
In addition, this position performs important work in the accounts payable cycle including compiling, reviewing, and entering invoices into a computer system.
The ideal candidate will enjoy and be skilled at interacting successfully with customers, and also be capable of accurate, detailed accounting work.
They will possess empathetic listening skills to accurately understand customer issues, and be able to satisfactorily resolve them within the framework of Authority policy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital, and so is the ability to work in harmony with coworkers and management.
Minimum qualifications include graduation from high school, and five years or more of progressive and relevant experience.
Candidates with an Associate Degree in business, accounting, marketing, or a related field are preferred.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Experience with spreadsheet, word processing, and Navision financial software is desired.
Familiarity with IBM Power 7 hardware is also desirable.

Starting pay is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
