Logistics Specialist Philadelphia Mixing Solutions is the most experienced mixing equipment manufacturer and process optimization expert in the industry.

Our products and services are used in chemical processing, petroleum processing, flue-gas desulphurization (FGD), water treatment, wastewater processing, and many other fluid mixing applications.
We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our team.
This position is responsible for all aspects related to freight shipments, including all duties related to domestic shipment document preparation and traffic coordination required to correctly process freight and affect timely delivery, and assisting in the control of logistics planning, coordination and acquisition of shipping services for the company.
Obtains all domestic freight quotes and provides to sales divisions.
Coordinates all shipments in and out of the facility according to specifications.
Works with Sourcing to ensure outside vendors are provided proper instructions for inbound shipments.
Assists in analyzing the best purchase option.
Prepares Bill of Lading in required format for all shipments.
Reviews and approves freight invoices.
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, environmental, safety, and HazMat regulations.
Occasionally prepares equipment for shipping including packaging equipment and the building of skids and crates.
Operates fork truck.
Follows process and procedures for international shipments.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree or equivalent exp.

- 2-5 years of experience with domestic shipments.
- Experience with import and export shipments highly desirable & preferential.
- Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Bill Of Lading creation and common logistic practices.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
