BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND
Qualifications:
The Lebanon County District Attorney's Office Criminal Investigation Unit is accepting applications for the position of County Detective.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting a wide variety of criminal investigations with a focus on child abuse; processing crime scenes; interviewing victims, witnesses and suspects; making criminal arrests; testifying at various court levels; preparing and submitting written reports; providing assistance and support to the Lebanon County Drug Task Force and completing all other assignments as required.
The candidate must be able to interact with local, State and Federal law enforcement agencies.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
MPOETC Act 120 certification and prior law enforcement experience is required, experience in criminal investigations is preferred.
Qualified applicants will be required to submit to an extensive background investigation, which may include a polygraph examination.
